Job summary

Summit School Services is seeking a Benefits Analyst to join the Benefits Team at our Warrenville, IL corporate offices. The role focuses on administration, reporting, analysis, and reconciliation of benefits and leave programs, partnering with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and vendors to deliver actionable operational reports.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, proficient in Excel, and comfortable working with large datasets. The position is hybrid (2 days in office per week) in Warrenville, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in benefits administration, leave administration, HR operations, reporting or data analysis.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, and/or leave vendor systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data validation and reconciliation, and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all benefit data files with accuracy and timely delivery.
• Support reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests with Payroll and HRIS.
• Extract, manipulate, validate, and reconcile data from vendor systems and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with benefits and leave vendors to understand reporting functionality and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with vendor implementations and annual enrollment processes.
