Brown & Brown in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our growing team. You will assist with enrollment, billing, eligibility, and claims while ensuring client satisfaction and timely resolution of service issues.

The role supports Account Executives, handles open enrollment materials, maintains documents for QC, and stays informed on new legislation to help clients remain compliant with government requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of group benefit plans and health/welfare experience.
• 1-2 years in insurance agency, carrier, or HR preferred.
• Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall client satisfaction with timely resolution of service issues.
• Assist Account Executives in fulfilling client needs.
• Follow renewal calendar and manage renewal activity timelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and teammates.
• Produce open enrollment materials and benefit handouts.
• Coordinate open enrollment paperwork submission and verify forms.
