Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Client Services Specialist to join our growing team in Florida. The CSS is responsible for responsive, solution-oriented assistance for daily service needs, including claims and billing support for client employees, serving as a trusted advocate for benefits questions.

Success in this role requires knowledge of employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, HRA), and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in customer services, sales, HR, insurance, or related field is required.
• Valid Florida Life, Health & Variable Annuities 2-15 license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Proficient use of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and insurance partners.
• Resolve escalated billing, eligibility, claims, and benefit inquiries.
• Provide ongoing guidance on benefit matters to clients and employees.
• Coordinate with internal teams to update EBH booklets and ensure timely production.
• Enter employee eligibility data into insurer systems and assist with enrollment spreadsheets.
• Support benefits fairs and data entry for claims audits; participate in client onsite events.
