Village of Elk Grove Village is seeking a Benefits Technician in the Office of Human Resources to support employee and retiree benefits and risk management. The role involves processing enrollments, maintaining confidential records, assisting employees and retirees, and supporting leave and workers’ compensation administration.

• Bachelor's Degree required, plus two years in an office environment.
• Experience in Benefits, HR and/or Risk Management highly desirable.
• Proficiency with software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with administration of employee and retiree benefit programs.
• Maintains benefits records in HRIS, payroll, and vendor systems.
• Provides guidance on eligibility, enrollment, and documentation.
• Supports onboarding and annual Open Enrollment activities.
• Assists with audits, reconciliations, and premium processing.
• Supports leave and workers’ compensation administration.
• Prepares reports, forms, and improves HR processes.
• Provides general administrative support to the HR Division.
