BENEFITS COORDINATOR

Wayside Youth & Family has an open position for a Benefits Coordinator on our vibrant Wayside Campus providing support to our staff. Wayside provides a warm work environment with management that is team focused and places value on healthy work dynamics. This is the perfect job for folks who like to be busy, creative and offer innovative care to our staff who care for youth and families. This job involves creating engaging communications to communicate all benefits to our 50+ staff as well as working with our benefits vendors.
Salary Range: $22.50-$27.00/hour depending on experience + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in our Framingham, MA office and 2 days remote.
What will you do:
Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee benefit questions.
- Support annual open enrollment planning, communications, and implementation.
- Maintain accurate benefit records and employee documentation.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and investigate discrepancies.
Leave Administration
- Coordinate and track PFML/FMLA, parental leave, medical leave, and other protected leave programs.
- Communicate with employees regarding leave eligibility and available benefits.
- Maintain accurate leave records and documentation.
- Coordinate and track applications and information for employees who need to apply for short term and/or long term disability.
Employee Support
- Educate employees regarding medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
- Assist employees in navigating benefit resources and vendor platforms.
- Develop employee communications and educational materials related to benefits programs.
Vendor Management
- Act as liaison with insurance carriers, brokers, retirement providers, wellness vendors, and EAP partners.
- Resolve employee and vendor issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with implementation of new benefit programs and enhancements as needed.
Wellness & Engagement
- Coordinate wellness initiatives, flu clinics, benefit fairs, and employee well-being programs.
- Promote employee participation in wellness resources and activities.
- Track participation and evaluate program effectiveness.
Compliance & Reporting
- Support compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and applicable state regulations.
- Maintain required notices, reporting, and documentation.
- Assist with audits and benefit-related reporting requirements.

MinimumRequirements:
- High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Preferred.
- 1-4 years of administrative, benefits administration, human resources, leave management, or related experience.
