Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Benefits Analyst to support health and welfare benefit programs, including Open Enrollment, pricing audits, and benefits documentation. The role requires advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities, with a focus on accurate billing and cross-department collaboration.

Based in Irvine, CA, the analyst will educate teams on benefits processes, ensure data integrity, and provide excellent service to internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
• Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field with three years of experience in benefits, human resources, or related business analytics
• High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience in benefits, human resources, or related business analytics
• Minimum of one year of experience in benefits, human resources, or related business analytics
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
• High degree of ethics, integrity, and service orientation
• Proactive problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize requests and manage multiple tasks
• Self-motivation with limited supervision
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Independent judgment and discretion

Responsibilities

• Administer and track daily job setup and updates related to employee benefit setup and pricing for group health and welfare plans
• Support Open Enrollment and benefit program setup and configuration
• Perform billing and reconciliation of benefit carriers with advanced Excel and analytics
• Monitor and resolve billing and pricing issues for accurate contributions
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex benefits inquiries and provide customer service
• Educate and train field operators on Allied Universal benefits processes
• Collaborate across departments to report imputed income for Domestic Partner benefits
