Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Benefits Analyst to administer and improve our comprehensive benefits programs. You will act as the day-to-day contact for third-party administrators and guide record-keeping and procedures.

You will address employee and retiree benefit issues escalated by HR partners to ensure prompt, equitable resolutions. The role involves maintaining vendor interfaces, monitoring HRIS integrations, and supporting regulatory compliance including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Four years of benefits administration experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with employees, HR partners, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders while influencing outcomes.
• Strong customer-service orientation with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
• Superior analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, highly-driven and self-directed; able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of benefit programs and processes to administer plans.
• Provides exceptional customer service; responds to inquiries and resolves moderately complex issues; escalates as needed.
• Maintains relationships with plan providers and ensures data transfers and corrective actions for records with errors.
• Monitors HRIS integrations with external vendors to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Identifies opportunities to improve benefit programs and streamline processes.
• Designs controls for oversight, data quality and compliance; supports audits and regulatory activities.
• Leads moderately complex projects (e.g., annual enrollment) under supervision.
• Collaborates to create communications and training materials to support engagement and change management.
• Processes corrections and benefit-related transactions with high accuracy.
