Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Benefits Analyst to administer health, welfare, and retirement programs with a focus on audits, reconciliations, and data integrity. The role supports Dayforce workflows and vendor interactions while ensuring compliant payroll and benefits processes.

This 1.0 FTE remote position requires WA residency with occasional travel to Seattle. The analyst will partner with leave administration, manage enrollments, and assist with Open Enrollment planning and communications.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 6–8 years of professional experience in benefits administration, HR operations, payroll support, vendor management, or related HR program work.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with Dayforce strongly preferred, including report building and data management.

  • Assist Open Enrollment planning, system preparation, testing, and communications.

Position Summary

The Benefits Analyst is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant administration of Proliance’s health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs. This role focuses heavily on recurring audits, reconciliations, payroll preparation support, data integrity, automation opportunities, and optimizing benefit-related processes within Dayforce. The Benefits Analyst works partnership with the leave administration vendor to address escalated leave and ADA issues, service concerns, and provide leave-related training and resources for leaders and employees.

Schedule

1.0 FTE, Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm PST.

This is a remote position, with travel into the Seattle office as needed. Applicants must reside in WA State.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Benefit Responsibilities:
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of group benefit programs, including Health & Welfare and Retirement plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and coverage updates.
  • Execute bi‑weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll, benefits, and HR audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Support payroll preparation related to benefit deductions, retroactivity, and reconciliation needs.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated workflows and data processes to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Dayforce, including report creation, data validation, and usage of reporting tools to support audits and compliance.
  • Review and reconcile vendor files (medical, dental, vision, retirement, COBRA, etc.), identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with payroll, HR, and vendor partners.
  • Coordinate ACA compliance activities, including data validation, reconciliation, and preparation of Forms 1094‑C and 1095‑C.
  • Maintain documentation and audit support for benefits compliance activities, vendor file updates, and required reporting.
  • Support benefit‑related education, communications, and campaigns.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment planning, system preparation, testing, and communications.
Leave and ADA Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for leave escalations, partnering with the leave administration vendor to resolve complex or time‑sensitive issues.
  • Monitor vendor service performance and recurring issues; elevate concerns and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with payroll when leave cases impact benefit deductions or coverage.
  • Provide leave‑related training and education for leaders and employees, focusing on processes, roles, and available resources.
  • Maintain general working knowledge of federal and state leave laws to support vendor oversight and issue escalation.
  • Lead the coordination of ADA accommodations in partnership with employees, leadership, and the leave administration vendor. Collaborate with Employee Relations on sensitive and complex accommodation cases, as needed.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in benefits administration, HR operations, payroll support, vendor management, or related HR program work.
  • SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with Dayforce strongly preferred, including report building and data management.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This role is primarily performed in a remote work environment, requiring reliable internet access and the ability to work effectively from a home office. The teammate is occasionally required to be onsite at the Seattle, WA office for team meetings, training, or business needs. While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to talk or hear, sit for extended periods, and use a computer and telephone. Manual dexterity is required for computer keyboard use. Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 40 pounds may be necessary. Some work may involve tight deadlines or periods of increased stress.
