Job summary

Position Summary

The Benefits Analyst supports the administration and continuous improvement of the company’s benefits programs by analyzing data, managing vendor relationships, and recommending program enhancements. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to support the design and delivery of competitive and cost‑effective benefit offerings while ensuring a strong employee experience.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Manages the day‑to‑day operations of assigned benefit programs and serves as the primary liaison with external vendors and consultants.
  • Analyzes utilization data, benchmarking reports, and trends to identify opportunities for program improvements or cost optimization.
  • Recommends enhancements to benefit programs based on data analysis, employee feedback, and industry trends.
  • Participates in the design and implementation of new benefit offerings and process improvements in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
  • Supports compliance activities and ensures required notices, filings, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Trains and provides guidance to HR team members and business partners on benefit processes, tools, and policy updates.
  • Assists with the development and delivery of benefits communication materials to improve employee understanding and engagement.
  • Contributes to cross‑functional projects that support the company’s total rewards and wellness strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language in order to perform the various tasks of the job, including but not limited to: converse with co‑workers and members of the general public, including customers; understand oral and written instructions as well as governmental regulations; respond to questions and inquiries from management and government representatives; and accurately complete various documents, reports and records required of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration with exposure to program analysis and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to draw insights from data.
