Higginbotham is seeking an Account Manager in Mobile, AL to maintain strong client relations for a book of fully insured and level funded clients. You will support Producers, advocate for clients, and coordinate with carriers to meet needs and renewals.

The role emphasizes accurate billing, enrollment support, and open enrollment presentations while staying current on benefits regulations and carrier products. On-site collaboration with teams is expected.

Competenze

• 5 years of Employee Benefits and Account Management experience in the insurance field required.
• Active Life & Health License required.
• Industry-related designations preferred.

Mansioni

• Serve as primary contact between client, prospect, agency, and producer; represent the agency in handling complaints or resolving grievances.
• Handle or refer all service requests from clients.
• Initiate and manage marketing of accounts before renewal; gather data and obtain carrier proposals.
• Review proposals with Producers to generate presentations and exhibits.
• Calculate premiums, payroll deductions, and audit billing statements for accuracy.
• Prepare enrollment materials for client presentations and open enrollment.
• Conduct open enrollment presentations to clients.
• Process paperwork for carrier submissions and ensure transitions between carriers.
• Maintain client accounts and update agency system with changes.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workflow for timely processing.
• Stay informed on carrier changes and relevant laws affecting benefits programs.
