Job summary

Patriot Growth Insurance Services is seeking a Benefits Account Manager in Sioux Falls to support individuals and small businesses with health insurance and employee benefits. You will manage renewals, enrollments, policy administration, and client communications to ensure accurate coverage and compliant processes.

You will act as a liaison among clients, carriers, agents, and internal teams, providing proactive service and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Day One: 1–3 years in employee benefits, health insurance, Medicare, Marketplace plans, or related insurance role.
• Strong understanding of health insurance products and employee benefits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and related software.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client, carrier, and internal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for individual and small group clients via phone, email, and other channels.
• Manage account administration: applications, enrollments, policy updates, renewals, and ongoing service.
• Prepare and submit carrier documentation accurately and on time to support compliance.
• Generate quotes, renewal comparisons, invoices, payroll reports, and other benefits materials.
• Guide clients through health insurance options including under-65, Medicare, and Marketplace plans.
• Monitor renewal timelines and carrier requirements to ensure continuous coverage and proactive communication.
• Collaborate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to resolve issues and sustain a high-quality experience.
