Job summary

USI Insurance Services in San Diego is seeking recent graduates for an 18-month career development program focused on client service and employee benefits. You’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting account teams, assisting with client needs, and learning how employee benefit programs are managed day‑to‑day.

Throughout the program, you’ll work with professionals across HR and benefits, participate in mentorship, and build connections through networking and USI Gives Back initiatives.

Qualifications

• Earned a bachelor’s degree within the past two years.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Organized and able to manage time effectively.
• Detail-oriented and reliable in meeting deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day account management across diverse clients and industries.
• Assist with client service requests, including ID cards, coverage materials, and plan documents.
• Gather, organize, and maintain client census data for renewals.
• Review contracts and plan documents for accuracy.
• Help resolve enrollment issues, billing inquiries, and escalated claims.
• Coordinate applications and documentation to implement/update coverage.
• Create client-facing materials for meetings, including benefit summaries and presentations.
• Participate in client meetings to learn relationship-building and solutions delivery.
