Position Details

This is a fully remote position; however, qualified candidates must be licensed in and reside in Florida, preferably on the west side around Tampa, due to in-person meetings with health insurance brokers. Our team collaborates via video and screen sharing technology, providing a seamless remote work experience.

The role involves managing relationships with assigned broker firms and growing broker headcount by effectively presenting our value proposition. Benefits Sales Executives develop deep knowledge of their broker books to leverage BenefitMall capabilities for revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and train new agents, promoting BenefitMall’s experience through trusted relationships and advanced technology solutions.
  • Develop revenue growth strategies with agents/brokers, focusing on sales activity, product expansion, and understanding of our services.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to ensure a smooth benefits selling experience.
  • Lead POD to support agents/brokers by educating them on carrier procedures, hosting strategy calls, and utilizing internal systems for activity tracking.
  • Market to agents/brokers to encourage client business placement, including in-field sales, renewals, and product additions.
  • Coordinate with partner carriers to maximize results.
  • Maintain confidentiality standards and work occasional long hours during peak times.
Qualifications
  • Active Life & Health License required.
  • HS Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in health insurance/employee benefits sales.
  • Deep knowledge of group insurance products, preferably from working with carriers or brokers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web browsers like Google Chrome.
