Please Review The Following Job Description:

This position is considered fully remote; however, qualified candidates must be licensed in and live in Florida, preferably on the west side around Tampa, due to in-person meetings with health insurance brokers. Our teams collaborate using video and screen sharing technology, which means you'll feel like you’re part of the team while also enjoying the convenience of working from home.

This role will be the primary contact with assigned broker firms, continuously growing broker headcount by effectively presenting our value proposition. Benefits Sales Executives develop an in-depth knowledge of their broker firms and books of business to leverage BenefitMall capabilities to maximize revenue growth.

Required Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and train new agents to BenefitMall by promoting our unique experience through deep, trusted relationships powered by the industry’s best technology solutions.
  • Work with agents/brokers to develop revenue growth strategies focused on increased sales activity, expanded product offerings, and better understanding of our services.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team sales environment and coordinate sales and retention activities to ensure a smooth benefits selling experience.
  • Lead POD to service agents/brokers’ business and encourage growth by educating and training on carrier procedures, product options, and value propositions.
  • Host strategy calls with POD to discuss priorities, quote volumes, renewal activities, and schedules.
  • Utilize internal systems (Salesforce, Zoom, etc.) for activity tracking and metrics.
  • Market to agents/brokers to encourage them to place their clients’ business with us by coordinating sales activities, closing sales, renewing cases, and adding products.
  • Develop strategies with targeted agencies to promote technology adoption and ensure secure electronic data transfer.
  • Coordinate with partner carrier resources to maximize results.
  • Adhere to confidentiality standards.
  • Work occasional long, irregular hours during peak times.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Life & Health License is required.
  • HS Diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in health insurance/employee benefits sales.
  • Deep knowledge of group insurance products, preferably from working with a health insurance carrier or broker.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web browsers like Google Chrome.
