The State of Missouri is seeking Benefit Program Technicians for the Buchanan County Customer Service Center in St. Joseph, MO.
You will help Missourians receive food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance to live safe, healthy lives. Daily duties include conducting eligibility interviews, interpreting policy to answer questions, calling participants about eligibility, and reviewing documents to update eligibility systems.
The Family Support Division (FSD) is seeking applications for Benefit Program Technicians. These positions will be located in the Buchanan County Customer Service Center based at 525 Jules St, Ste 127 St. Joseph, MO.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to completing eligibility interviews, interpreting policy and procedure to answer participant questions, contact participants by phone to discuss their eligibility, and review documentation to apply to Family Support Division’s eligibility systems.
In order to succeed in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR have a Bachelor’s Degree.
To thrive in this role, you must be personable, compassionate and have a non-judgmental attitude.

Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
