Job summary

The Family Support Division in Kirksville, MO seeks Benefit Program Technicians to help Missouri citizens obtain food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance, enabling safe, healthy, and productive lives.

Responsibilities include determining initial and continuing eligibility, interviewing clients in person and by phone, and preparing summaries. A High School diploma or equivalent plus four years of customer service, or a Bachelor's Degree, are required.

The Family Support Division is seeking applications for Benefit Program Technicians. These positions will be in the Adair County, Kirksville Customer Service Center based at 2814 S. Baltimore St., Suite A., Kirksville, MO.

As our Benefit Program Technician you will help Missouri citizens to receive food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy and productive lives.

• Every day you will determine initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for these services
• interview clients in person and by telephone
• prepare summaries and much more

In order to succeed in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of customer service experience OR have a Bachelor's Degree.

To thrive in this role, you must be personable, compassionate and have a non-judgmental attitude.
