The Family Support Division is seeking applications for a Benefit Program Associate/Technician. This position will be located in the Cassville Resource Center at 208 East 8th St., Cassville, MO.

As our Benefit Program Associate ($36,515.52 annually, $1,521.48 semi-monthly*), you will serve Missouri residents by assessing their needs and guiding them through applying for public assistance programs administered by the Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.

Daily responsibilities include answering questions about programs and resources, distributing information, scanning and indexing received documents, and entering data into eligibility systems.

As our Benefit Program Technician ($38,887.92 annually, $1,620.33 semi-monthly*), you will assist Missouri citizens in obtaining food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance to support safe, healthy, and productive lives.

Your daily tasks will involve determining initial and ongoing eligibility, interviewing clients in person and by phone, and preparing summaries.

Salary: Determined by experience and qualifications.

Qualification requirements:

• Benefit Program Associate: High School diploma or equivalent plus 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Benefit Program Technician: At least 4 years of customer service experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
