A leading company in benefits management is seeking a Benefit Plan Compliance Specialist to assist with compliance matters related to health and welfare plans. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, extensive knowledge of various regulatory frameworks, and excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. This fully remote position offers an opportunity to leverage compliance expertise while contributing positively to the company's objectives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style guided by the objectives of Allegiance Benefit Plan Management, Inc. (Company), the Benefit Plan Compliance Specialist assists with health and welfare benefits plan (e.g., medical benefits) compliance matters in a timely manner brought forward by Company clients and Company co-workers. This involves independent and thorough research with oversight by the Director of Compliance and Risk Management.
The incumbent is expected to communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, customers, and the public, and to be respectful and courteous in the conduct of this position.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: College bachelor's degree required.
Minimum Experience: Computer experience required. A minimum of five years of previous health and welfare benefits plans compliance experience required.
Other Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
PC skills, including Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. Must be able to adapt to software changes and trouble shoot minor issues.
Excellent listening skills.

High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Ability to project a professional image and positive attitude in any work environment.
