Job Summary
At tkMNA, we provide a foundation to foster and support a safe, professional, and fulfilling experience. This internship is designed to provide on‑the‑job training and experience for college students. Our interns engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity to enable them to gain the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform at a professional level. Our interns provide support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the intern's area of study.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Learns organizational processes and procedures
- Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records
- Works in a team environment, communicating as required with all personnel
- Assembles information in a timely and efficient manner
- Responds to telephone calls and emails
- Reconciles monthly invoices from related vendors and facilitates approval for payment
- Reviews and processes court orders requiring changes to benefit coverage
- Completes various administrative tasks within the Benefits Administrative system including the review of qualifying life events and coverage changes
- Collaborates with staff and departments in preparing special projects
- Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 1-year) from an accredited university or college
- Project planning skills
- Entry‑level knowledge and skill within specified area of professional specialty
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Applicants should be competitive, assertive, and self‑motivated
- Must have the ability to think critically, multi‑task, and keep up in a fast‑paced environment
