Job summary

KI, a world class supplier of furniture solutions, is seeking a Fabrication Technician for its Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift. The role includes operating fabrication equipment, inspecting quality, and ensuring smooth cell operations.

The starting rate is $19/hour with an additional $3 shift premium; training on any shift is available, and overtime may be required during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience encouraged.
• Willingness to learn and train on any shift.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection of components.
• Operate fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, saws, benders, drill presses).
• Use hand tools such as drills, riveters, impact tools, drivers, wrenches as needed.

A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties:

The Fabrication technician operates equipment which manufactures the metal fabricated frame for product being produced. This position is also responsible for:

• Quality inspection of the components being produced
• Operate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses
• Operate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Value Added Skills:

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

• This is a 3rd Shift position
• Hours are 10pm-6am Sunday night – Friday morning
• Starting rate of pay is $19/hour plus a shift premium of $3.00/hour
• Overtime during busy season
