Job summary

Anchor Fabrication, a precision metal fabrication company in Denton, TX, is seeking a 1st shift Jamb Cell Operator. The operator will perform sawing, bending, welding and milling while ensuring safety, quality and productivity.

Typical duties include reviewing job packets, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies, adjusting tension, and inspecting conformance to specifications. Strong reading of blueprints and precision measures, plus ability to troubleshoot with supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a metal forming environment.
• Ability to read precision measuring instruments and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Sawing, bending, welding and milling metal pieces according to specifications.
• Set up jobs by reviewing packets, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies, and adjusting tension.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to specs and troubleshoot with supervisor as needed.

Position: Jamb Cell OperatorShift: 1st shift, M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm**Pay: **DOE**Location: **Onsite, Anchor Fabrication, Denton, TXAnchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company is seeking a 1st shift Jamb Cell Operator.The operator is responsible for performing all functions of sawing, bending, welding and milling metal pieces while ensuring safety, quality and productivity. The operator is responsible for setting up the job which includes reviewing the job packet, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies and adjusting tension in order to operate the saw, bending, welding and mill machines followed by inspecting for conformance to specification.
