Position Overview

Job Title: Jamb Cell Operator
Location: Denton, TX 76207
Shift: 1st shift, M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: DOE
Onsite at Anchor Fabrication, LLC – a precision metal fabrication company.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of sawing, bending, welding, and milling metal pieces while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
• Set up jobs by reviewing job packets, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies, and adjusting tension to operate saw, bending, welding, and milling machines.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment or process issues, making adjustments as necessary or consulting supervisors and quality control.

Qualifications

• Mechanically adept with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under schedule demands.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer literate.
• Proficient at reading precision measuring instruments and interpreting blueprint drawings, sheet metal drawings, customer drawings, diagrams, weld symbols, and other instructional materials.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a changing environment to achieve common goals.
• Knowledge of shop practices and operations, including metal hardness factors and first‑in, first‑out material rotation.
• Flexibility to work in other areas as needed.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience in a metal forming environment.
