Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setup Technician to review blueprints, set up presses, and ensure first-article and in-process quality. You will bend, form, and straighten metal to tight tolerances and document work with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in sheet metal fabrication, strong blueprint interpretation, GD&T know-how, and ERP experience; Amada or TRUMPF press brake experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Solid math aptitude for measurements, bend allowances, and stack-ups.
• GD&T knowledge; must pass a competency test.
• Hands-on experience with Amada or TRUMPF press brakes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review prints and specs, program/setup the press brake, and perform first- and last-piece inspections.
• Bend, form, and straighten metal stock to exact tolerances.
• Operate press brake machines; adjust tooling, back gauges, and offsets for repeatable accuracy.
• Document labor and basic shop paperwork (Epicor experience is a plus).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; support production needs with flexibility.

Western Blvd, Suite 190—reviewing a fresh set of blueprints and turning flat sheet into precision-formed parts. At Anchor Fabrication, you’ll set up and run modern press brakes, verify first-article quality, and keep production flowing with craftsmanship and care. We have opportunities on both first and second shift.What your day looks likeReview prints and specs, program/setup the press brake, and perform first- and last-piece inspections.Bend, form, and straighten metal stock to exact tolerances using your understanding of material properties.Operate a variety of press brake machines; adjust tooling, back gauges, and offsets for repeatable accuracy.Document labor and basic shop paperwork in a timely, accurate manner (Epicor experience is a plus).Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; champion 5S and safety practices.Support production needs with flexibility—overtime and shift changes may be required.Pitch in with additional tasks as needed to meet customer deadlines.What you bring5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication (preferred).Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.Solid math aptitude for measurements, bend allowances, and stack-ups.GD&T knowledge; must pass a competency test.Hands-on experience with Amada or TRUMPF press brakes is a plus.ERP familiarity (Epicor preferred).EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Technical/trade school background is a plus.Schedule & LocationFull-time.
