Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking a Tester II on 1st shift. The role performs bench testing of a diversified line of parts, with a $25.00 hourly rate and a 5:30 am–2:00 pm schedule.

You’ll build simple setups, connect devices to test equipment, and record results while following safety and 5S standards. Preferred candidates have a HS diploma and 3+ years in fuel/hydraulic/pneumatic testing, plus ability to read blueprints and work independently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Minimum of three (3) work experience in Fuel, Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic Testing is required.
• No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA in order to be considered.
• Export-controlled information: must be a U.S. person as defined by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing of parts, subassemblies and units following procedures.
• Build / fabricate own setup operations on simpler test systems.
• Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges, verify and record results.
• Comply with safety requirements and maintain a clean work area per 5S standards.
• Lead Lean initiatives including Continuous Improvement.
• Read and interpret blueprints & schematics.
