Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Tester II - 2nd Shift in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on bench testing, reading gauges, and interpreting blueprints, with responsibilities across setup, testing, and data recording. The position offers a shift differential and eligibility for a PTO/incentive program.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in Fuel/Hydraulic/Pneumatic testing, with residency within 50 miles of Irvine. Lincoln region compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in Fuel, Hydraulic or Pneumatic Testing is required.
• No relocation benefit; only candidates residing within 50 miles of Irvine, CA.
• U.S. person for export-controlled information compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing of a diversified line of parts, subassemblies and units following established procedures.
• Build/setup own test system operations on less complicated test systems.
• Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges and record results.
• Follow safety requirements and 5S standards in the work area.
• Lead and interpret blueprints & schematics and participate in Lean initiatives.
