Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Tester II for the 1st shift at our Irvine, CA facility. The role performs bench testing of a diversified line of parts, subassemblies and units following established procedures. 5:30 am - 2:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of Fuel, Hydraulic, or Pneumatic testing experience. Local residency within 50 miles of Irvine is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in Fuel, Hydraulic or Pneumatic Testing.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA.
• U.S. export regulations require specific eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Bench testing of parts, subassemblies and units per procedures.
• Use gauges/meters, verify and record results.
• Setup simple test systems and connect devices to test gear.
• Maintain safety practices and 5S in the work area.
• Lead lean initiatives and interpret blueprints/schematics.
