Job summary

Kj’s Market in South Carolina seeks a Deli Department Supervisor to lead a fast-paced deli team, ensure exceptional guest service, and uphold Floco Foods standards.

You will manage daily operations, training, scheduling, and inventory while driving sales and maintaining quality and sanitation in the deli department.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication, guest service and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department employees achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.
