Job summary

Floco Foods’ Kj’s Market in the Carolinas is seeking a deli/bakery team member to deliver polite, friendly service to guests and support inventory and sales goals.

You will assist with product prep, receiving, stocking, and maintain sanitation per Floco Foods standards, while guiding staff and ensuring high guest satisfaction. The role requires 18+, physical work, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality required.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli operations.
• Ability to supervise people and training.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Operate department according to merchandising and operating guidelines and programs.
• Ensure product quality meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance and training to deli department employees.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Make PA announcements.
