Job summary

Emerson College is seeking an Interim Program Coordinator for Community Belonging and Impact in Boston. This one-year role supports planning, design, and delivery of belonging-focused programming for students, staff, faculty, and community partners.

You will assist with large events, curricula development, and youth programming while maintaining data and coordinating with campus partners. This position requires collaboration, strong communication, and comfort with rapid, project-based work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 2 years developing and facilitating programs in higher education and/or community engagement.
• Proven experience with event management and event planning.
• Experience connecting access-based resources with individuals and communities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in highly collaborative environments, both as an individual and as a team.
• Proven multitasking across varied responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and operations for large-scale community-building events and related tasks.
• Collaborate on development and delivery of programming for students with access-based scholarships.
• Coordinate logistics for internal communications and calendar of activities.
• Assist with drafting emails and flyers and manage space reservations and catering orders.
• Support youth programming design and coordination with local community partners.
• Maintain organized digital drives and track participant information for divisional knowledge management.
