Job summary

Emerson College seeks an Interim Program Coordinator, Community Belonging and Impact, to advance belonging-focused programming for students, faculty, staff and partners. The one-year position supports planning, curriculum development, and engagement opportunities across HIVE and the Elma Lewis Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• At least 2 years developing and facilitating programs in higher education and/or community engagement.
• Proven experience with event management and event planning.
• Experience connecting access-based resources with individuals and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and operations for large-scale community-building and belonging events, taking notes and executing tasks.
• Collaborate on development and delivery of programming for students receiving access-based scholarships and connect them to resources.
• Support ERN Co-Chairs with event planning, space reservations, catering, emails and flyers.
• Assist Celebrate Diversity initiatives by researching material, events and drafting designs using Google Docs, Canva, etc.
• Provide programmatic support for youth programming, designing curricula and coordinating with community partners.
• Organize information and maintain digital drives and participant data for knowledge management.
