Job summary

Belmont Mansion is seeking part-time historic interpreters. Belmont University students are encouraged to apply to share history with visitors through engaging conversations and guided tours.

You will greet guests, lead tours, assist in the museum shop, and answer inquiries while supporting event days. Strong public speaking and customer service experience are preferred, with the ability to climb stairs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and selling tickets; providing historical interpretation through informal conversations
• Formal introductions for the general admission tour

• Assist administrative staff with other duties as needed.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

Belmont Mansion is looking to fill part-time historic interpreter positions. Do you enjoy learning history? Are you interested in art history? Do you want to strengthen your public speaking skills? If you’d like to do any of these things and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, then we want to hear from you!

• Greeting guests and selling tickets; providing historical interpretation through informal conversations
