Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) is seeking a Bellstand Attendant to warmly welcome guests, escort them to rooms, and assist with luggage and vehicle arrivals at our resort property. You will inform guests about amenities and local activities, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures.

The role involves helping guests with luggage up to 50lbs, supporting with amenity deliveries, and following safety procedures while contributing to a high standard of guest service.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escort guests to their rooms.
• Opens doors and assists Owners/guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
• Informs guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Transports guest luggage to and from the villa/guest room and/or designated bell area.
• Assists with luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assists Owners/guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage up to 50lbs.
• Assists with amenity deliveries when requested.

Job description

As a Bellstand Attendant, a typical day will include:

• Greets and escort guests to their rooms.
• Opens doors and assists Owners/guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
• Informs guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Transports guest luggage to and from the villa/guest room and/or designated bell area.
• Assists with luggage storage and retrieval.

To Become a Bellstand Attendant at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
