Position: Bellperson / Valet Attendant

Summary

The Bellperson / Valet Attendant greets guests warmly and sincerely.

Essential Functions

• Welcoming guests to the hotel
• Directing guests and vehicles on the front drive
• Parking and retrieving guest and hotel vehicles
• Knowing hotel rooms, services, and features; relaying information to guests
• Assisting with luggage and hotel room orientations
• Delivering amenities and items to guest rooms
• Following hotel guidelines and talking points
• Driving hotel vehicles off property for guest drop-offs/pick-ups or item retrievals, as needed

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred
• Two years’ experience in a luxury hotel preferred
• Two years’ experience in customer service
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Guest recovery skills
• Enjoy interacting in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude
• Willingness to participate in a learning environment
• Ability to embody company values
• Dependability and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods (~6 hours), bend, stoop, squat, stretch, grasp, write, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity required.
