Job summary

Loews Coronado Bay Resort is hiring a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests in a luxury setting on the Coronado waterfront. You will greet guests, take orders, serve courses, and ensure accuracy and presentation while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage busy service periods. Training, competitive benefits, and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties.
• Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalated when needed.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
