Responsibilities

The Bellperson is responsible for assisting and directing guests upon arrival and departure, including luggage delivery and pick-up, providing room and property information, and valet parking of guest vehicles.

• Luggage Management: Pick-up and delivery of guest luggage between guest rooms and vehicles. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area and Canyon Ranch vehicles.
• Valet: Drive guests’ vehicles to and from the Pavilion and parking lot.
• Delivery: Deliver incoming packages, faxes, and prescriptions to guest rooms. Perform errands for guests in the local area as directed. Transport outgoing mail and retrieve incoming mail from the Post Office.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Certification/License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or related field. Ability to operate a vehicle with a standard shift transmission.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of Windows Operating System.
• Physical ability to lift guest luggage.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous resort experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Berkshires is a plus.
