The Bellperson assists guests in transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, coordinates guests' needs, requests, and inquiries. Essential Functions include:

1. Greet guests and escort them to their rooms when needed.
2. Handle luggage for guests upon arrival or departure.
3. Transport luggage between lobby and guest rooms.
4. Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.
5. Assist physically challenged guests with special needs.
6. Maintain presentable entrances.
7. Assist the Front Desk in delivering quick and efficient service to hotel guests.
8. Maintain constant communication with transportation, front desk, and messaging/PBX team members.
9. Assist guests with general questions about the rooms or other points of interest.
10. Comply with all health and safety standards.
11. Attend meetings as scheduled.
12. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements include:

• Good verbal communication & listening skills.
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment and ability to move people and goods.
• Great guest service skills.
• Trustworthy and have the ability to take care with people & protect property.
• Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with team members and guests.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to perform intermediate math.
