THE TENNESSEAN Hotel in Knoxville seeks a friendly Bellman/Valet to safely transport guests and assist with luggage while delivering outstanding service. You will drive the hotel shuttle, help guests with their bags, and keep shuttles clean and ready for daily use.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a service‑oriented attitude. You’ll report to the Front Office Manager or Hotel Operations Manager and join a team that values hospitality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests to designated locations in the hotel shuttle and assist with luggage.
• Deliver room service orders and pick up items for laundry or valet service.
• Call taxi services for guests and keep records of service calls.
• Transport guests around premises in car or motorized cart and maintain shuttle cleanliness.
• Report to Front Office Manager or Hotel Operations Manager.
• Assist in daily shuttle operation and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
• Support in other general hotel duties as needed.

Bellman/Valet

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bellman/Valeto safely transport guests to and from designated locations while providing excellent customer service. This role includes maintaining a clean vehicle, assisting guests with luggage, and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. The ideal candidate has a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a warm, service-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivers room service orders.

• Picks up articles for laundry and valet service. Calls taxi for guests. Transports guests about premises or local areas in car or motorized cart.

• Keeps record of calls for service.

• Delivers packages, suitcases, and trunks, and sets up sample rooms.

• Cleans lobby (ashtrays, dry mop, trash, etc.)

• Clean and vacuum inside of the vans a minimum of once a day.

• Assist in the picking up of room service trays from the halls around the property.

• You will be the reliable and courteous transportation provider for our hotel guests, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and on time.
• Your daily tasks will include driving the hotel shuttle to and from designated locations, assisting guests with luggage, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the shuttle.
• You will report to the Front Office Manager or Hotel Operations Manager.
