Zusammenfassung

Valor Hospitality is seeking a friendly Bellperson/Valet at our San Diego-area resort to greet guests, assist with luggage, park vehicles, and share information about the property and local attractions. This guest-facing role requires a positive attitude, professionalism, and a proactive service mindset.

You will support front desk and concierge during busy periods, maintain safe key control, and deliver a memorable first and last impression.

Qualifikationen

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to drive vans, trucks and automobiles with a clean driving record.

• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles while maintaining secure key control
• Escort guests to rooms and explain resort amenities, services and local attractions
• Provide directions, valet coordination, taxi service, and other guest assistance as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bell carts, valet area, lobby and entrances
• Deliver packages, amenities, messages or other guest items promptly and courteously
• Support front desk, valet, and concierge teams during busy periods
• Handle guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism and efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

The Role

Position Profile: As a Bellperson/Valet at our resort, you are often the first and last impression of the guest experience. You’ll warmly greet guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, safely park and retrieve vehicles, provide helpful information about the resort and local area, and ensure each interaction is efficient, courteous, and memorable. This guest-facing role requires professionalism, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to service—ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, helping people, and creating unforgettable welcomes and farewells.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High school education or equivalent experience. Customer Service in a guest contact role preferred. Ability to communicate with guests, respond to questions and inquires, knowledge of hotel services, local area events and activities. Ability to drive vans, trucks and automobiles and possess a valid driver’s license and have an excellent driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report preferred. Second language may be desired.

Physical Demands

Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs. Stand continuously for long periods of time. Continuous Standing as needed. Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets.
