From the first warm welcome at the curb to a seamless suite arrival, you'll help set the tone for a stay filled with genuine hospitality, desert-inspired relaxation, and the vibrant energy of Scottsdale.

Located near the excitement of Old Town Scottsdale, The Scott is more than a place to work, it's a place where a friendly smile, a helping hand, and thoughtful attention to detail can turn an ordinary visit into an unforgettable escape. If you enjoy being on the move, meeting people from around the world, and making guests feel truly cared for, this could be your next great opportunity.

What You'll Do
  • Create an exceptional first and last impression by warmly greeting arriving and departing guests with sincerity, energy, and professionalism.
  • Assist guests with luggage, packages, and personal items, transporting them safely between vehicles, guest suites, designated transportation, and secure storage areas.
  • Escort guests to their suites in accordance with resort service standards, helping them feel welcomed and oriented from the moment they arrive.
  • Visually inspect guest suites upon arrival and promptly report any deficiencies to the appropriate department for follow-up.
  • Issue luggage claim tickets at drop-off and accurately match tickets with luggage at pick-up.
  • Become a trusted Scottsdale resource for guests by developing strong knowledge of resort amenities, outlet hours, services, function spaces, transportation options, car rentals, and local attractions.
  • Share recommendations for the best of the area—from Old Town's art galleries and dining scene to desert adventures, shopping, golf, and more.
  • Answer guest questions and Bell Desk phone calls politely, clearly, and with a genuine desire to help.
  • Support daily resort operations with tasks such as laundry pick-up and delivery, newspaper delivery, reader board posting, cart polishing, and other assignments.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Front Office Supervisors, Managers, and/or the General Manager.
What Makes You A Great Fit

You're the kind of person who notices when someone needs a hand before they ask. You take pride in being dependable, polished, and ready to make someone's day easier. You bring positive energy to every interaction and understand that the smallest details can make the biggest difference.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Hospitality experience is preferred, but a welcoming attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
  • A clean motor vehicle record is required for this safety-sensitive position.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, push, and pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the resort for most of the work period.
  • Ability to learn, memorize, and consistently deliver The Scott Resort & Spa and AAA Diamond service standards.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, including the ability to speak, listen, read, and write effectively in English.
  • A neat, organized approach to work and a professional appearance appropriate for a four-diamond resort.
  • A strong commitment to ethical conduct, teamwork, guest service, and respect for both guests and fellow associates.
