Job summary

The Scott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is seeking a friendly Bell Desk/Guest Services team member to greet arriving guests and assist with luggage, escort guests to their suites, and ensure a seamless first impression. The role requires physical activity outdoors and a commitment to excellent service.

As part of a four-diamond resort, you will learn resort standards, interact with guests from around the world, and contribute to memorable stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospitality experience is preferred, but a welcoming attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
• A clean motor vehicle record is required for this safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, push, and pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk throughout the resort for most of the work period.
• Able to learn, memorize, and consistently deliver The Scott Resort & Spa and AAA Diamond service standards.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English.
• Neat, organized appearance suitable for a four-diamond resort.
• Strong commitment to ethical conduct, teamwork, guest service, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional first and last impression by warmly greeting arriving and departing guests.
• Assist guests with luggage and items, transporting them safely between locations.
• Escort guests to suites and orient them to the resort.
• Visually inspect suites and report deficiencies.
• Issue luggage tickets and match with luggage.
• Develop knowledge of resort amenities, hours, services, and local attractions.
• Share recommendations for Old Town, desert adventures, shopping, golf, etc.
• Answer guest questions and bell desk calls politely and helpfully.
• Support daily resort operations with tasks like laundry pickup and delivery, newspaper delivery, and cart polishing.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Front Office Supervisors, Managers, and General Manager.
