Job summary

The Scott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale seeks a energetic Public Areas Attendant to keep guest spaces immaculate during afternoon and evening shifts, with no overnight hours.

You will dust, tidy pool and lobby areas, restrooms, assist guests, and work with housekeeping to maintain a four-diamond standard. Prior janitorial experience is preferred; strong details matter.

Qualifications

• Reading and following cleaning procedures and standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 100 pounds.
• Previous janitorial/public-area cleaning preferred.
• Fluency in English for safety and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Dust furniture, artwork, fixtures in public areas.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness and towel/trash management.
• Clean and restock public restrooms.
• Polish metal surfaces for refined resort presentation.
• Empty trash and clean outdoor ashtrays.
• Monitor lobbies and outdoor seating for debris.
• Support Housekeeping leadership as needed.
• Assist guests with directions and information.

What You’ll Do

You’ll Help Keep Our Guest-facing Spaces Immaculate, Welcoming, And Ready For The Next Memorable Scottsdale Moment. Your Work Will Include

• Dusting furniture, artwork, fixtures, and accessories throughout public areas.
• Maintaining pool areas by attending to towels, trash, lounge-chair appearance, and overall cleanliness.
• Cleaning and restocking public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tile, counters, walls, stalls, vents, floors, and paper products.
• Cleaning and polishing metal surfaces to maintain a refined resort presentation.
• Emptying trash and cleaning ashtrays in outdoor public areas.
• Monitoring lobbies, walkways, outdoor seating areas, and pools for glasses, waste, trash, and other items needing attention.
• Supporting Housekeeping leadership and Room Attendants as needed to maintain resort standards.
• Helping guests with friendly directions, information, and assistance whenever requested.
• Reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, and hazardous conditions to the Safety and Security Department.
• Providing guidance to guests and fellow associates during fire or other emergency situations.

• Dependable attendance as scheduled, including afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
