Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Bell Person/Shuttle Driver (Part-Time) to assist guests with luggage, manage airport pickups and drop-offs, and uphold Crescent and Marriott brand standards. The role requires a valid NY driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a willingness to be a courteous guest liaison.

You will help guests with luggage, explain hotel facilities, and ensure luggage is checked properly while maintaining a welcoming lobby presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage and accompany them to rooms after airport pickup.

Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Bell Person/Shuttle Driver (Part-Time) assist guests with luggage, perform pick-ups and drop-offs and to ensure Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Marriott brand high standards are met.

Here is what you will be doing each day as a Bell Person/Shuttle Driver:

Perform duties of Bell Person including assisting guests with luggage, performing pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport, assisting guests upon check-in and check-out and assisting with and checking luggage as needed.

• Show guests to room assisting them with their luggage after driving them from the airport to the hotel
• Explain all hotel facilities, their location in the hotel, hours of operation, and answer all questions about these facilities and other hotel questions
• Check luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight
• Maintain the designated station in the lobby, standing alert to be easily summoned for fronts
• Perform pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport for the guests in a timely and friendly manner and inspect vehicles.

MUST HAVE A VALID NY DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH GOOD DRIVING RECORD

• Ability to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes and luggage with sufficient manual dexterity in both hands to be able to load and unload luggage up to 75 lbs.
