Job summary

Basin Harbor is seeking a Bell Person to warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage and escort guests to rooms while sharing information about hotel amenities.

As the first point of contact, you will support valet services, coordinate transportation, and help maintain a welcoming lobby environment during shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal/customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy luggage (25–50 lbs).
• Strong verbal communication with guests and staff.
• Valid driver’s license often required for valet duties.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as the first point of contact and assist with luggage during check-in/out.
• Escort guests to rooms and provide information about on-site amenities.
• Assist with valet parking, transportation arrangements and lobby maintenance as needed.

They ensure a positive guest experience through attentive service, often handling valet parking, transportation arrangements, and lobby maintenance.

Basin Harbor conducts pre-employment criminal background and reference checks on all employees.

Requirements

• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, or move heavy luggage (often over 25-50 lbs).
