Job summary

Setsu Niseko is seeking a Bell Officer to welcome guests at the resort entrance and assist with luggage and deliveries. You will work closely with the Front Desk team to ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience for guests and owners.

Responsibilities include coordinating luggage, supporting arrivals and departures, handling courier requests, managing lost and found, and assisting with driver schedules. Visa sponsorship may be possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Business level Japanese and English.
  • Physically fit and able to lift luggage.
  • Valid Japanese driver's license or international driving permit.

About The Role

As a Bell Officer, you will be one of the first people to welcome guests to Setsu Niseko. This role is an important part of the arrival and departure experience, helping guests with luggage, deliveries, local information, and other day‑to‑day requests. You will work closely with the Front Desk team to make sure guests and owners feel welcomed, supported, and well looked after throughout their stay. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys customer service, likes working as part of a team, and is comfortable in an active, guest‑facing role.

Working hours: 9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 07:00‑24:00; 5 days a week.

Main Tasks
  • Welcome guests at the main entrance and assist with luggage
  • Deliver luggage and other items to guest rooms
  • Support guest arrivals and departures in coordination with the Front Desk team
  • Handle local and international courier requests, including Yamato, EMS, and FedEx
  • Manage lost and found items
  • Coordinate and assign driver schedules
  • Manage inventory for amenities and lending items
  • Assist with training new team members, including seasonal bell, door, and driver staff
About You
  • Japanese and English Business level
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy luggage
  • Valid Japanese driver's license or international driving permit
  • Valid working visa for Japan; visa sponsorship may be possible for the right candidate
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with guests
  • A flexible team player who enjoys working with others
  • Able to manage priorities and work with attention to detail
Offer

Monthly salary: ¥230,000 – ¥280,000 (plus annual discretionary bonus)
