Job summary

OVI is seeking a Bell Coordinator to provide a warm greeting to guests and oversee valet operations, ensuring first and last impressions are exceptional. The role requires strong English communication, a positive, team-oriented attitude, and the ability to multitask in a hospitality setting.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a Four/Five Diamond hotel, a valid California driver’s license, and solid computer and arithmetic skills.

Qualifications

• Essential: Minimum 1 year in a similar position at a Four or Five Diamond Hotel.
• Essential: Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Essential: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Essential: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and departing guests: greet, park, retrieve cars, and provide luggage assistance, ensuring the security of vehicles in valet.
• Promote positive relations with all guests and visitors ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Promote and enforce standards of excellence and professionalism.
• Work well under pressure, prioritizing and delegating work to staff and coordinating departmental functions.
• Maintain knowledge and ensure bell staff has knowledge of daily activities, arrivals/departures, hotel features, services and amenities, and hours of operation for outlets.
• Enforce hotel’s standards, policies and procedures.
• Advocate work practices that promote accident prevention.
• Properly handle and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas including bell cart fleet.
