Lore Group is seeking a Bell Attendant for Riggs Washington DC. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, escort to rooms and explain room facilities in a luxury setting. A friendly, proactive attitude and knowledge of Washington, D.C. history are essential.

The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with weekend availability and a willingness to learn. Compensation is $20.00 per hour (tipped position) plus extensive Lore Group benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in luxury or independent hospitality preferred.
• Must have a welcoming personality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Washington, D.C. and local history.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm, personable, sincere and friendly manner.
• Retrieve guest's luggage and escort guests to their rooms and explaining the room facilities.
• Transporting departing guests' luggage from the room to the lobby, ensuring that the guest has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
• Provide guest with information they inquire about (i.e. hotel's information, nearest spa, restaurants, metro, bars, etc.).
• Anticipate guest needs and create personal and memorable experiences and find solutions to challenges.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties requested by Front Office Manager.
