Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC) is seeking a Bellstand Attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, open doors, and escort guests to their villas or rooms at Thompson Central Park New York in New York City. This is a part-time position with weekend and holiday availability and an hourly wage of $19.45.

In this role you will inform guests about amenities, local activities, and hours of operation, while maintaining Hyatt standards and safety procedures and delivering a warm, professional guest

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts guests to their rooms.
• Opens doors and assists Owners/guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
• Informs guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Transports guest luggage to and from the villa/guest room and/or designated bell area.
• Assists with luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assists Owners/guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting with loading/unloading luggage.
• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

As a Bellstand Attendant, a typical day will include:

• Greets and escort guests to their rooms.

To Become a Bellstand Attendant at HVC:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
