Job summary

The Ontario Airport Hotel and Conference Center, soon rebranded under Hyatt Regency, is seeking a friendly Bell Attendant to support guest services and luggage handling during a period of renovation and growth.

You will provide warm, professional service, assist guests with luggage, and share knowledge about hotel amenities to ensure a memorable stay. A clear communication style and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, guest service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred, if valet or vehicle assistance duties are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first impression of the hotel.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, including loading, unloading, delivery, and escorting guests to their guestrooms.
• Provide knowledgeable explanations of guestroom features, hotel amenities, services, and property offerings.
• Maintain organized and secure luggage storage areas while ensuring accurate handling and tracking of guest belongings.
• Prepare and manage luggage claim tickets and verify baggage tags to ensure proper delivery and accountability.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, concerns, and service needs, escalating issues when appropriate to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Offer accurate information regarding hotel services, transportation options, local attractions, dining, and entertainment.
• Maintain awareness of local events, activities, and points of interest to enhance the guest experience.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other hotel departments to deliver seamless and personalized service.
• Support overall hotel operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
