Job summary

West Michigan Janitorial is seeking a Belding Area Evening Custodian/Janitor to maintain school cleanliness after hours. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, stocking supplies, disposing of trash and recycling, and general floor care.

A background check and fingerprinting are required; physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds is expected. The role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00pm to 10:00pm, in the Belding area.

Job Skills / Requirements

Requirements of Custodian/Janitor:

• No Experience, No Problem!
• Effectively communicate with manager and other staff regarding issues and supply needs
• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
• Must be able to pass a background check & fingerprinting

Role of Custodian/Janitor:
