Job summary

The Wood Group is seeking a Weekend Behavioral Health Technician to support our youth mental health program on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 10pm. This part-time position focuses on safety, dignity, and structured daily living for youths receiving behavioral health services.

You will work with a clinical team, monitor residents, assist with meals, and help maintain a calm, respectful environment in a busy facility. Prior related experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Additional training in mental health or behavioral support preferred.
  • Prior experience working with youth or in a mental health setting is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Basic knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Able to work every other weekend is required.

Behavioral Health Technician - Youth Mental Health Facility (Weekend Shift)

Join our dedicated team at a leading youth mental health facility, where we are committed to providing compassionate and effective care to young individuals facing mental health challenges. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Weekend Behavioral Health Technician to support our clinical team and contribute to creating a safe, supportive environment for our youth clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people while working in a collaborative and growth-oriented setting.

Part-time shift available:

Sat & Sun - (10am to 10pm)

Key Responsibilities:
